Domestic abuse is present within our communities, including our churches.
Many who experience it suffer in silence, unsure if they will be believed, supported, or safe. Churches are often the first place people disclose, yet many leaders feel unprepared to respond safely and wisely.
After the Night exists to help bridge that gap — equipping churches to respond in ways that reflect the heart of Christ: truthfully, compassionately, and responsibly.
We Provide
Training
We train church leaders in trauma-informed, safe response
Prevention
We educate congregations and youth to help prevent and recognize abuse
Support
We support those impacted with dignity, care, and appropriate referrals
Refuge
We strengthen churches to become places of refuge, not harm
Survivors are believed. Not blamed.
Our goal is to help break the cycle of abuse across generations.
Together, we can reflect the heart of Christ - bringing light into darkness and hope after the night.
